In my last article,”These Feet Were Made For Walking”, I wrote about the seasons nail colour. I want to also tell you about the colour of a lipstick which I found that works very nicely with it.

The colour is BELIZE by Laura Mercier. It may not suit all very fair skins but it will give you an indication of what’s out there for summer make-up.

More importantly I want to stress how important it is to change your lip colour from time to time. So many new clients to Wardrobe will be wearing a lipstick colour that they have worn for many many years - it is so ageing. Many often have a blue base which on younger women looks great if that’s what in style. On most women it makes them more mature, as lips age too and this colour needs youthfully plump lips!

I suggest looking at the colours of Laura Mercier and Bobby Brown for natural, but modern tones of lip colour.
